Ombre brows — a soft, shaded finish

Ombre brows in Singapore are a powder gradient: light and airy at the front, defined toward the tail. The look of brow makeup, made semi-permanent, designed to your face.

What ombre is

A powder finish, not hairstrokes.

Ombre — also called powder brows — lays pigment as a soft shade rather than individual strokes. Colour is built lighter at the head of the brow and deeper through the body and tail, so the brow fades into the skin at the front and holds structure at the back. The effect reads like a brow gently filled with makeup, except it does not wash off.
Because the pigment sits as a diffuse shade rather than crisp lines, ombre tends to hold more evenly on a wider range of skin types — including oily skin, where fine hairstrokes can blur.

Who it suits

For sparse, oily, or previously-tattooed brows.

Ombre suits people who already wear brow makeup and want that look made semi-permanent, those with sparse or uneven brows, and clients whose skin runs oily. It also works well over older, faded brow tattoos that need softening rather than removing.

Men are a large share of the clients we see for ombre. Kept light at the front and undefined at the edges, a soft ombre adds quiet structure to a sparse brow without ever reading as drawn-on, which is usually the entire point. Ombre is also often combined with other techniques, used to add darkness exactly where the brow runs sparse.

On colour

How we keep it natural, not dark.

The most common worry is that the brow will heal too dark. It is also the most preventable.

Our response is procedural

The session

Step by step, around 90 to 120 minutes.

Every appointment follows the same unhurried sequence. Nothing permanent happens until the design is approved.
1

Consultation & face analysis

We read eye position, nose proportion, forehead structure and your existing brow growth before recommending a shape or shade.
2

Mapping & symmetry

The shape is drawn on and approved in the mirror before any pigment is opened. This is where the wrong-shape fear is settled — we adjust until it is right for your face.
3

Numbing & comfort

A surgical-grade numbing cream is applied before and during the work. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain.
4

Shading & aftercare brief

Pigment is shaded in gradually, zone by zone. You leave with a written healing schedule and recovery products.

Healing & longevity

What weeks one to four look like.

Day one reads boldest. The brow flakes lightly between days four and seven, appears to fade around week two, then resurfaces softer and truer through weeks three and four. The settled powder finish lasts roughly one to two years. A retouch within three months is included to perfect the result once it has healed.

Frequently asked

Ombre, answered plainly.

Will ombre brows look too dark?
No — and the depth is yours to set. We choose pigment intensity with you during consultation, then build colour gradually rather than going dark first. Ombre also heals lighter: the brow you see on day one softens by roughly a third over the following two to three weeks, settling into the powder finish we agreed on.
Are ombre brows suitable for men?
Yes. A soft ombre can add quiet structure to sparse or uneven brows without looking drawn-on. We keep the front of the brow light and the edges undefined so the result reads as your own brow, not makeup. A large share of our clients are men.
How is ombre different from microblading?
Ombre is a shaded, powder finish — pigment laid in a gradient. Microblading creates fine individual hairstrokes. Many clients who have struggled with microblading on oily skin do better with ombre, which holds more evenly. We will tell you honestly which suits your skin during consultation.
What if I don’t like the shape?
The shape is drawn on and approved by you before any pigment touches the skin. Nothing is permanent at the mapping stage — we adjust until the structure is right for your face. Work only begins once you are happy with the design.
How long does ombre last?
Generally one to two years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. It fades softly and evenly rather than patchily. A retouch within three months is included to perfect the result after healing.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as mild. We apply a surgical numbing cream before and during the session, and check in with you throughout.
